How would you go about making a kandi cuff halfway up your arm?

I am fine making cuffs but am a little confused at how to make the longer ones that I have seen. The cuffs that I have been making are a little over 2 inches tall. By longer I mean from the wrist to halfway up your arm. If anyone could explain this to me or provide me with a link to a tutorial I would really appreciate it. :) Thank you in advance.
