Digital Blood Pressure Cuff Question?!?!?! HELP!?

Okay so im an 18 yr old female, and i recently tried to take my blood pressure with my dad's digital blood pressure cuff. im extremley scared because it kept reading as an error like 3 times before i actually got a number. it said 130/83...VERY high for me considering im usually like 90-100/60-70. im very worried because i few seconds later i took it again and it read out to 149/106!!! IM SO SCARED:( like i was crying earlier. is there something wrong with the bp cuff? am i not using it correctly? i cant tell...but those numbers really scare me. i mean the thing took 3 or 4 times to even get the first number. and i tried 2 do it again after and it kept coming up as an error. im somewhat healthy and im really hoping that its not accurate. does anyone have any insight or advice? i really need it:(
